Our Mission

Building intentional professional networks, one connection at a time

Social media was meant to connect us with people who inspire, educate, and elevate our work. Instead, opaque "For You" algorithms serve us content designed for engagement, not enrichment.

We believe you should control who you follow.

FreshDex helps you discover and connect with the talented people behind the projects, companies, and industries you care about. No black-box algorithms. No engagement manipulation. Just comprehensive, curated databases that let you build the professional network you actually want.

Whether you're looking to follow game developers, film creators, tech entrepreneurs, or local business owners, we make it effortless to find the right people and follow them across all platforms with a single click.

Why we built this

It started with a simple frustration: wanting to thank a talented performer after a show, but spending 5 minutes trying to find their social media. That positive interaction almost didn't happen because of discovery friction.

We've seen too many people delete their social accounts or avoid platforms entirely because algorithmic feeds became toxic, divisive, or simply irrelevant to their professional interests.

There's a better way.

Our approach

  • Transparency over algorithms: You know exactly why you're seeing someone - they worked on a project you care about, they're in your industry, or they match your interests
  • Quality over quantity: Curated databases of people doing meaningful work, not influencer popularity contests
  • Cross-platform discovery: Find people once, follow them everywhere - Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and beyond
  • Community-driven accuracy: Like Wikipedia, our community helps keep information current and accurate
  • Positive interactions: Tools designed to help you connect, collaborate, and celebrate others' work

Our vision

A world where professionals can easily discover and connect with the people doing the most interesting work in their field. Where social media becomes a tool for learning, inspiration, and meaningful professional relationships.

Where you follow people intentionally, not accidentally.
